Pursuant to Article 10 of Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles for Fulfilling the Obligation to Inform, we inform you about how your personal data is processed.
Last updated: 15 October 2026
Your personal data is processed by Levent Pişkin — VeeVip (“VeeVip”), as data controller, within the scope described below.
VeeVip is a software platform and does not provide transport. D2-licensed carriers who take on transfer requests sent via the platform are separate data controllers for the personal data they process as part of the transport service.
Passengers (those creating a transfer request): full name, phone number, email address (if provided), pickup and drop-off addresses, transfer date and time, number of passengers, vehicle preference, request note (e.g. flight number, luggage details) and the language you selected on the site.
Carriers (subscribed users): full name or trade name, contact details, tax details, D2 authorization certificate details, vehicle plate and registration details, insurance policy details, drivers' SRC and psychotechnical certificate details, subscription and payment/invoice records.
Mobile app users (VeeVip and VeeVip Partner): account details (full name, e-mail, phone and an irreversible hash of your password), language preference, booking and message records in the app, your device's notification ID used to send notifications, and session records. If you grant location permission, your device's location is shown on the map and sent to our server to be converted into an address for the pick-up field; your location is not stored and is not tracked continuously.
Carriers' location: when a job with a pick-up within 12 hours is accepted in the VeeVip Partner app, the device's current location is sent to our server once to calculate whether the pick-up can be reached in time. This is based on the performance of the contract (Art. 5/2-c) and our legitimate interest in serving passengers on time (Art. 5/2-f); the location is not stored and not tracked. Without location permission only jobs with a near pick-up time cannot be accepted.
Carriers applying through the VeeVip Partner app: in addition to the carrier data above, the following documents uploaded in the app as photos or PDF files: driving licence, SRC certificate, psychotechnical report, criminal record certificate, vehicle registration, compulsory traffic and passenger seat accident insurance policies, D2 authorisation certificate, tourist passenger transport permit, TÜRSAB certificate, Istanbul IBB route permit and vehicle photos (front and rear with the plate visible, both sides and the interior); document validity dates, the provinces served, records of jobs accepted, given back, started and completed, points history and subscription details.
Contact form and KVKK applicants: full name, contact details and message content; for KVKK applications, also the Turkish ID number (for foreigners, nationality and passport or ID number) and notification address for identity verification.
All site visitors: transaction security records such as IP address, browser and device information, visit date and time, and the session cookie.
Your personal data is processed on the following legal bases under Article 5(2) of the Law:
Special category personal data: the criminal record certificate and the psychotechnical report uploaded by carriers are special category personal data under Article 6 of the Law. These documents are processed solely on the basis of the explicit consent the carrier gives in the VeeVip Partner app before uploading them, to assess the application and passenger safety; the adequate measures determined by the Personal Data Protection Board are taken. Consent can be withdrawn at any time; the documents are then deleted.
The carrier points system is based on the performance of the contract (Art. 5/2-c) and on our legitimate interest in a reliable service (Art. 5/2-f). When the points reach zero, accepting jobs is stopped automatically; you may object to this result and your objection will be reviewed by an authorised person.
Processing not based on these grounds (e.g. sending commercial electronic messages for campaigns and announcements) is carried out only with your explicit consent; no data is currently processed for this purpose.
Your personal data is collected electronically via the transfer request, contact and KVKK application forms on the site, email, phone and WhatsApp correspondence, carrier registration processes and automatically (server logs and session cookie).
In the mobile apps, your data is collected through the registration, booking and application screens, the documents you upload and, if you allow it, the device location and notification permission.
For the secure and fast operation of the site and for our business processes, we use the following services whose servers are located abroad:
These transfers are carried out in accordance with the conditions and procedures set out in Article 9 of the Law.
When the period ends, personal data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
Under Article 11 of the Law, you may apply to VeeVip to exercise the following rights:
In accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, you can submit your application via the KVKK Application Form, from the email address registered in our system or with a secure electronic or mobile signature to [email protected], or with a wet-signed petition to our address above.
Your application is concluded free of charge within 30 days at the latest; if the process involves an additional cost, a fee per the tariff set by the Personal Data Protection Board may be charged. If your application is rejected, you find the reply insufficient or no reply is given in time, you may file a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Board under Article 14 of the Law.
